Participation fees

  • All solo categories: 32 EUR
  • Junior solo, Senior solo: 50 EUR
  • Junior solo – Variete; Senior solo – Variete: 50 EUR
  • Masters: 50 EUR
  • Chamber groups: 64 EUR
  • Orchestra groups: 8 EUR per each participant in the group
    • for 18 and more players – 140 EUR for the entire group

Payment of the participation fees will be made based on issued invoices. Invoices are issued continously according to the submitted applications. Please use the variable symbol when paying participation fess!

In case of non-compliance with the payment conditions, the entrant will not be included in the competition. Participation fees can be only refunded if the competition is cancelled.

Transport and accommodation

Jury

A professional jury, consisting of master accordion teachers and performers, decides on the performance and overall evaluation of the competitors.

The jury will have at least nine members.

The decision of the jury is final and cannot be appealed.

Awards

Each competitor will receive a diploma and a small prize. Depending on the number of the competitors, at least one medal place will be awarded in each category.

Selected participants will receive the Accordion School Petr Vacek Award, which is associated with the possibility of paid performance at the gala concert of the accordion competition in 2027.

The International Accordion Competition Dobřany 2026 is a qualifying competition for the global competition Trophée Mondial de l’Accordéon. The rules of qualification for solo, chamber music and orchestral music categories are listed at the end of overviews of the individual categories. Qualifying accordionist will have the opportunity to participate in the online round, from which it is possible to advance to the final round, which will be held in autumn 2026 in France.

Special prize will also be awarded for the youngest participant in the competition.
